Dolly, our mamakitty, eventually returned from going walkabout but it wasn't till
after we had each moved to our noo homes. But Aunti Rhonda was happy to see her again
and began to feed her on thuh porch again. Aunti Rhonda and my mom kept trying to
catch her to fix her even though she wasn't broke but they could never catch her.
And so, to prove she wasn't broke, she had another litter of kittens a year after
me and my sisfurs were born. Again, she had three kittens, but this time there were
two girlkitties and one boykitty. When the babykats were about 4 weeks old, Aunti
Rhonda and my mom got worried because the building Aunti Rhonda lived in was scheduled
to be torn down furry soon and they worried that momDolly wouldn't leave and the
babykats would die. So, they decided to capture the babykats and momDolly, too. Aunti
Rhonda had gotten momDolly to trust her finally so she was able to get her into a
carrier then she and my mom went after the babykats. They were worried about scaring
the babykats off the roof of the building, but fortunately were able to rescue them.
MomDolly and babykats went to TED's (Thuh Evil Doctor, aka Thuh Vet) for a few days
and momDolly was finally fixed whut wasn't broke. Aunti Rhonda moved momDolly and
babykats to her new home with her, but momDolly was a feral cat through and through
and she literally climbed the walls of the house trying to get out, so Aunti Rhonda,
knowing she could never get her back in a carrier to return her to her old home,
let her go, hoping she would find her way in a strange new neighborhood. We haven't
heard from her since, but we hope she's found another good hoomin to feed her and
keep her warm in thuh winter.
These were the two babygirlkats momDolly had. Aunti Rhonda found a hoomin to take
them home but, Ize furry sad to say, they didn't have a furry long life. Their hoomin
let them go in thuh Out and something found them one day. They're playing now at
thuh Rainbow Bridge.
