| After Alice died in June 1994, I tried bringing J.B. into my home, but Callie wouldn't have it, and J.B. hid in terror. This picture was taken at that time, but I knew she needed a different home so I found another home for J.B. At that time, she weighed.approximately 20 pounds.* Viewed: 830 times.

When I discovered, in September 1995, that J.B. was in poor health at the home I'd found for her, we agreed for J.B. to come home with me. She was diabetic and maybe weighed 5 pounds. Viewed: 687 times.

| This picture was taken the first day J.B. came into our home. She had a drain in place at her shoulder for an abscess obtained most likely in a cat fight. Viewed: 686 times.
|
| When J.B. moved in, Callie was in confinement due to a dislocated hip. I think that had a lot to do with why she integrated so well despite her extremely poor health when a year before, right after Alice died, it didn't work out.* Viewed: 742 times.
